2007 Altima
The styling is not radically different but Nissan's 2007 Altima, revealed at the New York Show and briefly reviewed by the CarConnection, features a number of technical upgrades. It is based on an all-new platform with improved body rigidity and a redesigned suspension, and will feature a CVT (continuously variable) automatic transmissionlinks. In fact, Nissan says that in the near future all North American Sentra, Altima, Maxima, and Murano models sold with automatic transmissions will come equipped with CVTs. Both the 3.5 liter V-6 and 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine have been enhanced with more power and improved performance. The Altima has done well for Nissan and with the shift away from SUVs, should continue to be successful.
