More on the Grand National Roadster Show:
In addition to "America's Most Beautiful Roadster," the GNRS also awards a prize for "America's Most Beautiful Motorcycle." In just its second year, the Motorcycle prize is already a coveted prize. Last year, Steve Daheb won with his bike "Wicked Way." I'm not sure who won this year yet.
There seemed to be two divergent trends amongst the motorcycle entries -- there are the full blown chopper customs of the Yaffe/Bourgeous/Ness variety, with long, low sculptural lines and tribal graphics. Then there are the Chika/jesse james
/Pat Ford variety of bike, incorporating old-school elements with old-fashioned hand craftsmanship and a rougher, less corporate look. It'll be interesting to see which trend wins the award this year.Permalink: America's Most Beautiful Motorcycle
