On view today is another B.S. commercial from a one-time B.S. car company.
This UK TV advert for the Rover
800 shows off the "luxury" and "engineering" of what was one of Britain's most forgettable sedans of the 1980s and 1990s.
Heck-fire, the body panels of the car displayed in the 30 second spot don't even line up (check the shot that shows the front quarter panel not quite squaring with the side-indicator lamp and the bonnet).
A walk down memory lane for some, and for others a reminder that in automotive terms, we live in better days.
