Yesterday, Ford announced that Kuwaiti concerns Adeem Investment & Investment Dar (united by ProDrive founder and Vanquish owner David Richards) purchased one of the best makers of GT cars the world has ever known - Aston Martin - for £479 million ($923 million).
Ford has retained 16% of its stake in Aston Martin worth an estimated £40 million ($77 million).
Reassuringly, the mastermind behind Aston's successful turnaround, former porsche
designer Ulrich Bez (PhD) has promised stay at his chief executive post for another five years. Better yet, the four-door Maserati fighting Aston Martin Rapide has now received the green light for production.
In total, the future looks bright for one of Britain's best.
