BMW Z4 M Roadster

I admit to never really liking the styling BMW choose for the Z4. I always looked at the design as something you love or something you hate, there doen't seem to be much in between for most car fans. One of the contributing factors to my general "Meh" attitude towards the car was the anemic engines. While still not a looker in my book, BMW has changed one aspect by adding an M version to the Z4 line with the engine from the M3 wedged under the rakish nose.
Naturally when you strap the same engine into a smaller, lighter car you get some performance improvement. The Z4 M can romp from 0-60 in a mere 4.7 seconds, surely enough to scare your wife into making you sleep on the couch. That 0-60 time is 0.1 seconds faster than the M3 according to Road & Track. Even with the new ballsy power plant wedged into the Z4 M, I'm still "Meh" on the car. For me a car is more than the sum of it's parts or performance stats. And while the Z4 can MOVE
thanks to the powerful engine, it just fails to move me.
