"We are 100 percent committed to making this happen." GM's Design Chief "Maximum" Bob Lutz responded to naysayers and soothsayers by once again restating that the Chevrolet Volt - GM's electric car charged with more buzz than actual current - will happen.

Just give it time.

"I've said before that this is not a publicity stunt, but it's as if people don't want to believe it if we give them anything short of a guarantee of Volt delivery... with an exact date, time and stickerlinks price."

Alright, Mr. Lutz. We believe you. Too bad about the Cadillac Sixteen though...
