Gotta love an icon.
And what's better than the original if not to see an icon revisited by a manufacturer who faithfully follows the original's high octane formula?
The answer is precious little.
Muscle car fans 'cross the globe have eagerly anticipated the new generation Challenger that Dodge is set to unleash on the road-going public next year.
Some 6,000+ orders have been placed, half of which are to be delivered in "HEMI orange," a hue very similar to the that 70's orange that we first knew a car named Challenger.
Chrysler plans on making less than 10,000 models for M.Y. 2008. And with more than half of '08 models spoken for in these early days, it's anticipated that the carmaker will sell out before the year's out.
The MSRP is just shy of $38K which makes the Challenger a relatively affordable icon.
