Dr. Z Bids Farewell To Chrysler Employees

Dr. Dieter Zetsche (aka Dr. Z) along with Chrysler CEO Tom LaSorda sent an 405 word e-mail to Chrysler employees thanking them for all their hard work over the past nine years. They addressed the letter to "Daimler and Chrysler colleagues" and wrote of how they saw a bright future for the Detroit giant.
"With a wealth of innovative new vehicles in its showrooms and product pipeline, we're confident that Chrysler will emerge as an agile and profitable competitor in its nafta
stronghold and will accelerate its growth in volume segments worldwide," they wrote. The $7.4 Billion sale of Chrysler Group to Cerberus Capital Management is set to be finalized this fiscal quarter.
