Pontiac Solstice in "Summit White"
By Gunnar Heinrich
White has proven this year to be the most fashionable color for new automobiles in the North American car markets according to DuPont Automotive's "Global color popularity report."
Nearly 20% of all new cars sold on the North American continent are white. Since the year 2000, the most popular color had been silver (I guess the tech-flavor is old).
Black is also gaining fast in popularity and to a lesser extent so are red and blue.
Conversely, green and brown were the most and second to most unpopular colors, respectively.
