Ford Globalization comes to America
Filed in archive Ford by Jeff Bressler on February 01, 2008

A little Europe might finally be coming to America in the Ford Verve concept. Ford is finally coming to the conclusion that small cars
may just be the future, in the US just as much as it already is in Europe and Asia. While the Verve, which debuted at the Detroit Auto Show a few weeks back, is officially designated a "concept" car, there's little doubt that this prototype is a close snapshot of what Ford plans to launch in 2010.
The Ford designers seem to have it right. They gave this mini compact a great looking Euro inspired design both inside and out. Colored Ford Rouge Red, Verve's face features the large, three-bar grille that's becoming a signature cue for Ford. Two distinctive LED side markers flank the front fascia.
Isn't globalization wonderful.
