Cloud III" border="0" src="http://www.4driversonly.com/50226711/Hemmings_RR_Silver_Cloud_III.jpg" />Rolls aficionados might prefer the more traditional looking Silver Cloud II - with its two single headlamps as opposed to the more modern double units of the Silver Cloud III. In truth, both versions are distinctive and as some Brits might say, "right and proper".
This two-tone black-on-grey on black example dates from 1964, has wafted ascant 41K miles, and looks to be in original condition. The black leather interior is a bit warn, but those die-hard collectors who insist that every last thing must be original will no doubt appreciate the hide and its creased condition.
At nearly 80 grand, it's a bit on the heavy side though. Needs to lose $15K or so.
A majestic chariot to be sure. Today's selection fits right in with that aforementioned War & Peace bit @ Automobiles de Luxe.
