The Quattroporte lacks a true automatic transmissionI don't know about you, but I find this sort of transmission very appealing. There's not a lot of high-end cars that ask for any driver input other than to not drive directly into things., a disadvantage in the United States. It has a Ferrari F1-style, six-speed electrohydraulic transaxle that is basically a manual transmission with no-clutch pedal. Gears can be changed by using paddle shifters on either side of the steering wheel or by selecting automatic mode, which shifts the gears without driver input.
Now, look, I'm no fancy boy like Jason and Phil (who actually get to test drive cars), so I'll probably never get to drive one, sit in one, heck, I'll probably never get to feel how smooth the paint is, but I'll sure admire it from wherever I'm standing. I've seen only one on the road (in N.J.) and it was as pretty as the pictures. You got any cars that beat this one? Comments are open below for you to prove me wrong.
