Renault Clio > A Franco-British Union

Filed in archive by Gunnar Heinrich on July 06, 2007

This Renaultlinks TV advert is far more appealing than the last example. Made for the British market, some crafty ad agency did a very clever job of using two attractive people representing the UK and France to play a tit-for-tat, tongue-in-cheek flirtatious spar between a fictional couple on the virtuous of everything British and French.

The coupling as we're meant to believe will happen - is representative of an amalgamation of British design work fusing with French industrie to produce the charming Clio hatchback.

I hope they launched this advert in May - it would have been so apropos.
