There are times when they get it and other times when you'd wish they'd get it. Like when FoMoCo's CEO Mulally elected to bring back the Taurus name. That was a "eureka
!" moment for the company if ever there was. It's about capitalizing on whatcha already got. And Ford could stand to clean house in North America if it were just to send over some of its UK designed wheels.
For example, Europe will this summer be treated to the visual (and likely tactile) delights of Pinninfarina designed - that's the design house of Alfas and Ferraris, mesdames et messieurs - Ford Focus cabrio. This Cabrio looks as though it shares at least a similar electrically folding hard-top design as seen on the Volvo C70.
And by God, not only is it a genuine 2+2, practical, front driver - its beautiful, too. No mention of Ford bringing that car Stateside. Which brings us back to: sometimes you'd wish they'd get it.
