luxury brands
are placing continued emphasis on the sound systems in their vehicles. Many automakers in the realm of luxury brands feel the need to partner with established audio companies.
We have Lincoln paired with THX, Acura and ELS, Lexus and Mark Levinson and now Bentley and Naim.
Naim, a name you probably haven't heard of if you aren't a hard-core audiophile, is a British manufacturer of very high end stereo equipment. In a Bentley press release they claim the Naim system is the "worlds best."
To design the system, Naim ran acoustic tests on each Bentley model, coming up with a unique speaker configuration for each. The Bentley Continental model gets 15 speakers, while the Arnage, Azure and Brooklands get 11 speakers each. These impressive numbers fall short of the 19 speakers in the Lexus LS 600h.
The Naim speakers include 25mm tweeters, 80mm and 130mm mids and 200mm twin subwoofers.
