With 512 bhp and 470 ft/lb of torque churned out by an all-American V8 (said to be sourced from Corvette's mighty Z06) Cadillac is ready to up the ante against the Germany's 'Bahn stormers. CAR magazine reports that the mid-sized Caddy CTS-V is set to have 0-60 times in the four second region and a maximum electronically limited speed of 185 mph; passing out most German sports sedans that have their limiters set to 155 mph.

CAR also suggests that the Cadillac will be priced to significantly undercut ze German competition.
