Of fix-ed roof and fix-ed mission, the latest spy shots of Mercedes-Benz's latest efforts to outdo itself by creating a most potent AMG tuned monster SL(C) serve only to tantalize those of us with Teutonic tastes.
Saving weight from the standard SL, the SLC gets a carbon fiber bonnet and non-retractable roof, magnesium wheels, and more air intakes to feed the engine that will likely be the same 6.3 Liter V8 that powers the CLK63 AMG.
Except the new version of the same engine will churn out much more than 500 horsepower says EVO magazine.
Fatter wheel well arches, beefed up side aero-body-kit, and lower stance give the Benz an air of raw performance potential.
In sum, this latest Benz to wear the SLC designation is set to outdo the original that in late 70s made Mercedes-Benz an in-house name for outdoor rallying.
