One of the world's most unique marques just got a whole lot more...er...unique. Alfa Romeo didn't any new concept models to the automotive table at this year's Frankfurt Auto Show, but what the Italian carmaker did manage was to introduce potential customers to its new "Unique Alfa" program.
It's essentially a customization program that will offer customers more ways than ever to individualize their Alfas. The program falls into three sub-categories; one might call them flavors: "Vintage" or retro themed, "Turismo Internazionale" or performance oriented and "Collezione" fashionista theme.
In a bit of self enacted back-patting, the following press release excerpt:
"Alfa Romeo is one of the most prestigious brands in motoring history, and it indubitably conjures up the art of Italian living, expressed in a perfect synthesis of tradition and modernity, heritage and the avant-garde, beauty and culture. And it is thanks to this propensity for art and beauty that the Alfa Romeo Customisation Programme has taken shape, developing into three different areas that identify the brand's exclusive values and make its relationship with its customers unique."
